Executive Director and Residential Manager
Shea VanWhye is from Kersey, Colorado, a small town just east of Greeley. Shea began her career as an in-home caregiver over 10 years ago, and eventually progressed to a host home provider for adults. Recently though, Shea has shifted to be a host home provider for children. As part owner of Connect. Grow. Thrive., she also runs residential for Weld County for adults, as well as running residential for CHRP, the children side of host home providing. Shea’s favorite part about her jobs the connection with her providers and watching clients thrive in their individual homes. In her free time, Shea loves to spend time with her biological and foster children and take care of her pig, Toby Ludo VanWeeWee.

Tessa Lengefeld |
Executive Director and Residential Manager
Tessa Lengefeld is from Flint, Michigan, a midwesterner at heart! She discovered her passion for helping individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities while working as a manager at Target, helping them develop and achieve their goals. She then found a position as a day program provider, and the rest is history! As part owner of Connect. Grow. Thrive., Tessa manages day programs and residential in Larimer County. Tessa loves her jobs because she gets to watch her clients and the Connect. Grow. Thrive.’s clients grow and helps to make their quality of life better. In her free time, Tessa loves to learn languages. Currently, she is learning Hebrew, relearning Spanish, and hopes to learn Greek and French in the future.

Kim Anderson |
Administrative Coordinator
Kim Anderson is Connect. Grow. Thrive.’s Administrative Coordinator, and does all of the company paperwork and admin work. Kim is originally from Kersey, Colorado, but currently resides in Greeley. She has been doing admin work for many years, and loves working with numbers and doing paperwork. Kim loves to spend time outside, specifically riding bikes and spending time with her family. She also will pick a workout outside over an indoor workout any day. A fun fact about Kim is that she has her associates degree in Medical Billing and Coding.
